This is a lovely old dish in beautiful condition for its age. It was probably distributed by the Larkin Co., of Buffalo, NY, in their soap products during the 1940's. I remember my grandmother and great aunt talking about what they got with their powdered detergent cleaners. My great aunt collected a whole set of Forget-Me-Not china over a period of several years, some of which I still have. This dish is 6.5" in diameter with a handle. The gold is only a little worn on the edges. The mark on the back reads: Noritake; "M" in Wreath; Hand Painted; Made in Japan; Japanese characters; No. 42200. I accept PayPal & Money Orders. Hagglers welcome. Please see details on mailing, packaging and insurance at Kate's Kollectibles. U.S. buyers only, please. I charge a $4.00 handling fee for packaging materials and insurance is required. See my complete collection at http://www.amerindgen.com/gammy.html $25.00
