NORITAKE #4220 RAISED GOLD
|
DESCRIPTION Noritake: Pattern #42200 - "Raised Gold" In 1876, John D. Larkin established his business in Buffalo, New York. He sold his goods by going directly to the consumer in what he called "factory to family" sales. Therefore, when my Grandmother told me about how she purchased her china for a "door to door" sales person, that was in fact the very way she did it back in the early 1920"s!! By the 1920's, as postwar American costs soared, the Noritake Co. had begun producing an export line of porcelain dinnerware patterns, some of which were designed exclusively for Larkin. These included Azalea and Raised Gold. Therefore I feel that my grandmother's china is a very rare pattern and is at least, very hard to find!! This set of fine china is nothing less that beautiful and in wonderful condition!! It has not been used for many years and has been stored for the last 50 years behind glass!! It includes the following: 12 Dinner plates - Replacement value is $360.00 12 Teacups - Replacement value is $420.00 12 Saucers - Replacement value is $108.00 12 Berry Bowls (called fruit bowls or sauce dishes) - Replacement value is $168.00 1 Covered vegetable tureen, oval - Replacement value is $125.00 1 Open vegetable - Replacement value is $55.00 1 Medium platter - Replacement value is $75.00 1 Salt and Pepper set - Replacement value is $50.00 Total Replacement Value is at least - $1361.00 PLEASE EMAIL FOR PRICE
